Cauliflower Wild Rice

Cauliflower Wild Rice

Serves: 4

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes 

Total Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 sprig thyme, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Cauliflower CRYSTALS

Instructions:

  1. Melt butter in a small saucepan at medium heat.
  2. Sautée shallot.
  3. Add water to a boil.
  4. Stir in rice to cook on medium-high heat. 
  5. Reduce heat to simmer, cover with a saucepan lid. 
  6. Cook until water is absorbed and rice is tender.
  7. Remove from heat to rest.
  8. Mix thyme & Cauliflower CRYSTALS into rice.
  9. Enjoy.

Tips, Suggestions & Enhancements:

  • Tip – substitute broth for water.
  • Suggestion –  use brown or wild rice.
  • Enhancement – change it up with Broccoli CRYSTALS (Note: flavors vary with each vegetable).
